# Installation

This documentation is going to show you how to successfully install `Jace's Lighting System` into your FiveM server.

To get started, go to your [portal.cfx.re](https://portal.cfx.re/) and download the latest release of `Jace3483_JLS`. Extract the zip and you will see a folder inside called `Jace3483_JLS`. Drag and drop this into your `/resources/` folder. Then go to your `server.cfg` and do `ensure Jace3483_JLS`. Please note that changing the resource name can will stop the resource from working. This is due to `nui` and `js` features.
