# Installation

This documentation will show you step by step on how to install `DiscordAcePerms` to your FiveM server.

To get started, go to your [portal.cfx.re](https://portal.cfx.re) and download the latest release of `Burkhardt_Software_DiscordAcePerms` . Extract the zip and you will see a folder called `Burkhardt_Software_DiscordAcePerms`. Drag and drop this into your `/resources/` folder. Then go to your `server.cfg` and do `ensure Burkhardt_Software_DiscordAcePerms`. Please note that changing the resource name can cause the resource to not work.

To be able to use this resource you need to allow the following `cfg entries` into your `server.cfg`

`add_ace resource.Burkhardt_Software_DiscordAcePerms command.add_principal allow` 

`add_ace` `resource.Burkhardt_Software_DiscordAcePerms command.remove_principal allow`
