# Creating an Account

To create an account, you just be on a website which utilizes BurkhardtCAD. You can identify BurkhardtCAD instances via the footer at the bottom of the web page. Now due to our advanced customizations we allow for community owners, your landing page may look different. Look for a button to signup or login. If you cannot find anything buttons like this you can go to your url and add `/signup` or `/login` to the end of the domain. For example `https://domain.com/signup`. This will take you to the signup page where you can then create an account.

**IMPORTANT:** DO NOT use your real first name and last name when creating an account unless you want to. Please note that everyone in the community can see this information.

We comply with strict laws across multiple counties making sure your data is safe and secure. If you wish to delete your account, you are allowed to as its within your rights. You will be sent an email to confirm the deletion of your account.

Please note that once you confirm the deletion, we will not be able to recover your data. Once you delete your account, we wipe all data related to your account across all systems such as \`RMS\` and \`CAD\`.
